Constructing a non-backlit Looboo wall is intuitive and completely tool-free, utilizing just four core components: Vertical Bottoms, Vertical Tops, Horizontal Bars, and Brace Rods. The structure is built by stacking the Vertical Tops onto the Bottoms using gravity connections, while the Horizontal Bars link the uprights together. This is done with a built-in lever system—simply lift the lever to engage the connector, then push it down to lock the frame securely in place. To ensure the display remains perfectly rigid, a Brace Rod is inserted into the center of the frame to prevent the verticals from flexing inward. Expanding the wall is seamless; you simply lock a new horizontal into an existing upright and add a new vertical on the opposite side, allowing you to continue the pattern and create displays of any length.
Looboo backlit frames are designed for scalability and flexibility using a simple set of modular components. Every display is defined by dedicated Left and Right Side Verticals for the perimeter, connected by standard Horizontal Bars that lock into place with our quick-release lever system. To build larger walls, you simply add lightweight Internal Vertical Supports. These internal sections connect using gravity, allowing you to extend the width of your display by adding more middle sections between the left and right perimeter uprights.
For illumination, Looboo utilizes a smart "light curtain" design. High-quality LED strips are sewn directly into a fabric panel that snaps into the frame using a silicone edge. This creates a wall of balanced, even light behind your graphic, ensuring a flawless visual presentation without hot spots or shadows. Frame design allows you to back light one side and cover the other side with an opaque graphic if needed.

The most efficient and economical method is using our "L-Connectors." These simple attachments use thumbscrews to securely link multiple frame sections together at a right angle. For a more premium finish, you can upgrade to our dedicated 90-degree corner profiles. This solution provides a highly polished look by minimizing visible aluminum and reducing the gap between frames. While this option is slightly more expensive and requires additional packing space, it delivers the seamless aesthetic preferred for high-end custom designs.
When your design calls for more vertical presence, Looboo offers two effective methods for adding height. For a streamlined extension, we offer Vertical Extension Bars. These components stack seamlessly between the standard vertical bottoms and tops, allowing you to increase the wall height without adding extra horizontal bars or hardware.
For significant height—such as reaching 16 feet or building over door frames—you can stack complete frames on top of one another using our straight connectors and thumbscrews. This modular approach is the practical solution for combining two standard 8-foot frames to reach maximum heights. Additionally, it offers greater creative flexibility, allowing for different graphic segments on the upper and lower sections and leaving you with more independent frame parts for future reconfigurations.
Looboo’s packing system is designed for superior protection and organization, centered around our custom-formed EPP packing modules. These specialized trays are molded to hold standard components like verticals and horizontals securely. They stack neatly on top of one another, keeping your parts protected while making it easy to identify exactly where every piece belongs.
For shipping, the system offers versatile options to match your scale. For larger setups, the packing modules stack perfectly inside our dedicated Mini-Crates, designed to hold either 26 or 42 modules. For smaller events or portable applications, the packing modules fit directly into our wheeled carry bags, which accommodate two modules each for easy, lightweight transport.
Looboo utilizes Fabric Silicone Edge Graphics (SEG) to ensure a flawless, high-end finish. These graphics feature a thin, flexible silicone strip sewn directly into the perimeter of the fabric. Once the frame is assembled, simply press this edge into the dedicated channel on the aluminum extrusion.
This tension system is designed to stretch the fabric tight as it is installed, effectively pulling out wrinkles and creating a perfectly flat surface. The result is a clean, professional appearance with large, high-impact visuals that are completely seamless.
